Who: Ultra -Runners
What: A 30 mile training run on the Mother Road II course
When:August 30th at 6am
Where: Elk City, OK
I have a room at the Motel 6 - 2604 E. Hwy. 66 / (580) 225-2541
It is just north of I-40, exit at Exit #41.
We will meet there and begin the run.

Why: To check out the first part of the course. The shoulders, the hills, the
scenery, the traffic, etc.To get a decent run in. To meet some of the folks who
have entered the race.

Backgound: Before Mother Road I a group of us gathered and ran about 30 miles
on the course. I found it extremely helpful and fun. It made me better prepared and
gave me confidence that this I could easily knock out this part of the race.

My thought was to drive out there in late August and see if anyone else was
interested. There is a bit more safety in numbers, so the more the better.
